Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Huge Balls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes the distance but Balls moves to the side
and Balls counters with a nice uppercut.
Johnson throws a combination that misses
and Balls cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Balls connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Paul Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Balls counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Balls shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Balls is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Balls lands with some strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You get the feeling that Johnson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Balls breaks from Johnson's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Johnson is rocked!
Balls lands a heavy elbow.
Johnson is still in real trouble! Can Balls finish him?
Balls is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Johnson goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Balls!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Huge Balls!
