Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Troy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velasquez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, King Of The World. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cain Velasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Troy! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Troy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Velasquez to the mat! Velasquez manages to get full guard. Velasquez looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Troy pushing down on Velasquez's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Troy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Velasquez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Troy scores with a couple of good hammerfists. It looks like Troy is going to stand back up.

Troy looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Velasquez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Troy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Troy is pressing down on Velasquez's thigh, looking to free his foot. Velasquez is holding on for now. Troy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Charlie Troy wasn't active enough on the ground. Troy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Troy showed some decent athleticism there. Well, if Troy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Troy trying to mount his opponent but Velasquez defends it. Troy performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Troy is working for a kimura but Velasquez is defending it quite comfortably.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Troy in particular looking to stall.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Charlie Troy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Velasquez takes a kick to the side of the head. Troy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee asks Troy politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Troy prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Velasquez avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Troy. Troy taking a breather here. Troy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Troy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Velasquez quickly recovers to half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Troy sitting and controlling from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Troy dominated that round. That's time! Velasquez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Troy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Velasquez at a distance.
Troy throws a right hand that Velasquez ducks under and follows up with a left that Velasquez also avoids with ease. Cain Velasquez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Troy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Velasquez gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Troy looking to control and managing it successfully. Troy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Troy controlling from mount. Troy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Velasquez is looking to escape. Troy controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Troy gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Troy looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Troy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Velasquez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Troy gets to his feet. Velasquez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Troy gets the takedown into side control. Troy trying to control the action but Velasquez is working from the bottom. Troy is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Velasquez stops Troy from passing to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Troy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Troy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Troy happy to just control the position for now. Velasquez on the wrong end of some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Troy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Troy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Troy is working Velasquez over with some ground and pound from side control. Troy takes a little break here. Velasquez wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Troy tries to move to mount but Velasquez blocks the move with his legs. Troy happy to just control the position for now. Troy stands up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Troy throws a head kick that half lands.
Troy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Velasquez gets caught flat footed, as Troy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Troy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Velasquez can't keep his opponent in guard - Troy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Charlie Troy has got the better of the ground game so far. Troy tries to pass to full mount but Velasquez defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Troy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Velasquez is staying active underneath Troy, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Troy passes to full mount! Troy content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Troy looking to control but Velasquez is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Troy stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Cain Velasquez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Troy clinches up against the cage. Troy content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Troy looking for a takedown. Troy jumps guard and drags Velasquez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Troy looking to control.

And that's the end of the fight! Charlie Troy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Troy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
