The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kill scores a takedown into full mount!
Katsumi tries to hold on but Kill pushes him away.
Katsumi is looking to get to half guard.
Kill controlling his opponent.

Kill is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Katsumi has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Katsumi!
Katsumi with a flurry of punches that miss.
Katsumi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kill's guard.

Katsumi is nestled in close to Kill, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kill is refusing to be controlled, as Katsumi sits in half guard.
Katsumi passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kill!
Katsumi gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Katsumi lands a two punch combo.
Kill misses with a few strikes there.
Katsumi tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kill counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Katsumi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Katsumi quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kill has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Katsumi celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
