The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mackenzie King lands a jab to the nose.
Mackenzie King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sams misses with a body shot
and Mackenzie King counters with a stiff right hand.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sams.
It looks like William Mackenzie King has been cut.
Mackenzie King throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sams lands with a good body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mackenzie King throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sams misses with a left hand
and Mackenzie King counters with a nice uppercut.

Sams looks gassed!
Sams throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mackenzie King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Matt Sams has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sams throws a lazy uppercut
and Mackenzie King counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sams takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mackenzie King scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mackenzie King lands a big right hand that sends Sams crashing to the mat! Mackenzie King stays standing though and waves Sams back to his feet!
Sams is rocked!
Sams is holding his hands too far apart here. Mackenzie King throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Sams is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
