Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Wk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane MacKallister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Want Your Face- Andrew WK. MacKallister has chosen Four Horsemen by Metallica as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane MacKallister!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacKallister scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

MacKallister is working for an americana but Wk has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst MacKallister was thinking about the submission.

Wk is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and MacKallister defends well.

Wk working for a triangle but MacKallister defends it easily.

MacKallister drops back looking for a leg! Wk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wk manages to kick MacKallister off! MacKallister jumps back into Wk's guard.
MacKallister stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wk is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

MacKallister really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
MacKallister stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wk swivels though and keeps the full guard.
MacKallister controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
MacKallister throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wk works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Wk can't keep his opponent in guard - MacKallister advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
MacKallister thows a huge punch but Wk dodges it nicely.

MacKallister landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Wk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wk.

MacKallister content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Wk wants to sweep here but MacKallister controlling him for the moment.
Wk has momentary wrist control but MacKallister slips an elbow through the middle.
MacKallister working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Wk throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
MacKallister lands a couple of digs.
MacKallister trying to control but Wk is working from the bottom.
Wk is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
MacKallister scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Wk not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
MacKallister trying to control the position from guard on top but Wk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane MacKallister dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


MacKallister tries for a takedown but Wk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
MacKallister throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
MacKallister swings widly with a right hand
and Wk connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wk takes a swing at MacKallister's ribcage but misses.
MacKallister tries for a takedown but Wk circles away easily
and Wk counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
MacKallister misses with a takedown attempt

and Wk decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in MacKallister's guard.
Andrew Wk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane MacKallister.
MacKallister looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wk is one step ahead there.

MacKallister is trying to push Wk off with his feet but Wk grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of MacKallister's ankles and MacKallister is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
