Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Kildahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cono Slash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kildahl comes to the cage accompanied by dont get up. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kildahl tries for a takedown but Slash sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kildahl steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slash.
Slash rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Kildahl counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Slash is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kildahl is aware though and is defending well.

Slash has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kildahl can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kildahl looking to sit in guard and control but Slash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kildahl is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Slash decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kildahl, up you get!

Nice combo by Slash! Oh, that's hurt him - Kildahl falls to the canvas and Slash follows him into side control.

Kildahl is rocked!

It looks like Sam Kildahl has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slash tries for a kimura but Kildahl is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The strikes coming from Slash are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kildahl is trying to buck Slash off.
Kildahl trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Slash thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Slash is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kildahl is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Slash looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kildahl wants to get back to his feet but Slash drags him back down.

Slash decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kildahl to his feet.
Cono Slash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kildahl takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kildahl shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Slash sprawls well. Slash wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kildahl gets slowly back to his feet.

so Kildahl counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Slash bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kildahl's guard.
Kildahl is breathing heavily.
Slash sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kildahl's guard.

Slash is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kildahl defends it well.

Slash is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kildahl doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Slash.

Slash maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kildahl could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Slash has cracked it and Kildahl is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Slash!
