3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Kennedy! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good exchange - Ripper coming out on top. Ripper throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kennedy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ripper is in Kennedy's guard. Ripper slips nicely into half guard. Ripper prevents Kennedy from improving his position. Ripper throwing shots but Kennedy is blocking nicely. Kennedy tries to roll over but Ripper keeps him under control. Kennedy pushes Ripper off looking to stand but Ripper dives back in and keeps control.
Ripper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kennedy keeps working. Kennedy is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ripper scores with a couple of nice shots.
