Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alfa Uros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maya has chosen The Omen as his entrance music. Alfa Uros could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Damien Maya's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uros throws out a loose jab but Maya uses good head movement to avoid it.
Uros looks to land a left hand but Maya moved out of range nicely.
Maya slips a jab from Uros.
Uros connects with an inside leg kick.

Uros clinches up against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Maya throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Uros lands a body punch in the clinch.
Uros lands a body shot in the clinch.
Maya lands an elbow inside.
Uros is trying to force a seperation but Maya has the dominant position.

Uros pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Uros misses with a wild combination.
No joy there for Uros, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Uros fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Maya.
Uros lands a right hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Uros clinches with his opponent.
Uros is trying to push Maya away but Maya has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Uros presses Maya against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Maya looks gassed!
Maya's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Uros digs a right hand underneath Maya's ribcage. Maya let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Uros stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Uros pushes Maya back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A short body shot lands from Uros as the two fighters clinch.
Uros cracks Maya with a nice body shot.
A body shot lands from Uros.
Uros lands a shot to the body.
Uros works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Uros scores with a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Uros lands a shoulder strike.
Uros gets through Maya's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Uros breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Uros throws the left hand but Maya avoids the punch easily.
Maya takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Maya takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Uros looks to score with a jab to the body but Maya is just out of range.
Maya avoids the body shot from Uros.

Uros closes the distance and pushes Maya back into the cage.
Uros cracks Maya with a nice body shot.
Uros pushes Maya back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Uros.
Uros tries to circle away but Maya has him pinned against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Uros.

Uros's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Uros scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Uros forces Maya back against the cage and clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee is keeping an eye on Uros - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Uros lands with a left to the head.
Uros can't break the clinch.
Uros wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Uros pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maya throws a sloppy head kick and Uros moves out of range easily.
Danga de danga de dang - Uros scores with a four punch combination!
Uros scores with a sloppy right hand. Maya should have avoided that one.
Maya steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Uros.
Uros misses the shot to the body.
Uros throws a hook but Maya avoids it easily.
Maya misses with a body kick.
Uros comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Maya shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maya showed some decent athleticism there.
Uros makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Uros.
Maya stopping the sweep attempt from Uros.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Uros pushes Maya off and gets back to his feet.
Maya throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Maya feints and as Uros raises his hands in defense, Maya changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Uros not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Maya advances position into side control!
Maya is staying tight to Uros's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Uros is looking for a sweep.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Maya trying to control the action but Uros is working from the bottom.
Uros tries to bench press Maya off him but Maya keeps the position.
Uros is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Maya asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Uros is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Maya's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Maya works his way into full mount!
Maya looking to control but Uros is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alfa Uros dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Uros throws a sloppy head kick and Maya moves out of range easily.
Maya gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Uros counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Maya throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Uros.
Uros throws a leg kick but Maya moved away.
Maya takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A combination from Uros does no damage.
Uros misses with a wild body shot.

Uros rushes Maya and presses him up against the cage.
Maya prevents Uros from breaking the clinch.

Uros manages to break the clinch.
Maya misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Uros fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maya manages to avoid it.
Maya scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Uros thows a body shot but no joy.
Maya shoots in looking for a takedown. Uros tries to sprawl out of it but Maya keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Uros manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Uros misses with a series of wild punches.
Alfa Uros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Maya closes this distance looking for a takedown but Uros circles away.
Alfa Uros has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damien Maya.
Maya is breathing heavily.
Maya takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Maya throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sloppy strikes from Uros. Those never looked like landing.
Uros misses with a left hand

and Maya counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Uros looking for a triangle here. Maya is fighting it but it looks tight! Uros pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Maya is tapping out - this one is all over!
