Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Pavlochenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Bazelett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yuri Pavlochenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dustin Bazelett! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bazelett looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bazelett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bazelett will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pavlochenko checks a low kick from Bazelett. Pavlochenko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Pavlochenko working for a guillotine from mount but Bazelett is in no mood to give up. Pavlochenko has hold of Bazelett's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bazelett manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pavlochenko trying to control but he's not successful this time. Pavlochenko jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bazelett is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bazelett and Pavlochenko has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pavlochenko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bazelett knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bazelett is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pavlochenko's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Pavlochenko seems to be looking for submissions.
Pavlochenko wants to pass the guard but Bazelett is defending well. Bazelett is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bazelett throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Pavlochenko wants to pass the guard but Bazelett is keeping the position. Bazelett lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pavlochenko! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Pavlochenko is desperately trying to improve his position but Bazelett has a good base and remains in mount. Pavlochenko tries to lock up and control but Bazelett gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pavlochenko bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Pavlochenko is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pavlochenko scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Pavlochenko working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bazelett keeping full guard, as Pavlochenko tries to pass. Pavlochenko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pavlochenko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pavlochenko postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bazelett is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pavlochenko, into his guard. Pavlochenko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bazelett can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bazelett wants to stand but Pavlochenko is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pavlochenko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bazelett doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pavlochenko is tightening it up a little... Bazelett has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bazelett reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bazelett taps out! nice BJJ there by Pavlochenko!
