Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between El Guapo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lalli Koylio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guapo comes into the arena with Sympathy For The Devil blaring out of the sound system. Koylio has chosen Moonsorrow - Köyliönjärven Jäällä (Pakanavedet II) as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that El Guapo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily El Guapo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Koylio fails with the takedown
and Guapo counters with a stiff right hand.
Koylio doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Guapo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Guapo misses with a hook
and Koylio counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Koylio with the ground and pound but Guapo uses the opportunity to regain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guapo seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Koylio jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Guapo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Guapo and Koylio has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Koylio looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That was a close second round but I would say that El Guapo will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Koylio drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Guapo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Koylio has Guapo in his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Koylio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

El Guapo showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Guapo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
