Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russkof fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McNamara bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. McNamara goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Russkof rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McNamara's guard! Nice work there by Russkof! Russkof got a little sloppy there for a moment and McNamara has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Russkof has managed to get both his arms back between McNamara's legs - danger averted. McNamara looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McNamara keeping moving, preventing Russkof from controlling successfully. McNamara lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Russkof! Russkof wants to hold on but McNamara pushes him away. McNamara scoring with strikes but Russkof is staying in there. McNamara landing shots from mount.
Russkof is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McNamara jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Russkof manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. McNamara is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Russkof knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McNamara working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McNamara working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. McNamara thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Russkof struggling a bit here.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. McNamara wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Russkof, who protects the arm well. McNamara looks gassed! McNamara thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Russkof wants to control but McNamara postures up. Russkof is looking to regain half guard here but McNamara keeps moving and retains side control. McNamara working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Russkof tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McNamara wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Russkof is working hard here to advance position. McNamara is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Russkof has escaped the position, nice work there. McNamara tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McNamara has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Russkof regains half guard, as McNamara was trying to land strikes. Russkof has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McNamara is working away from the top position though.

Russkof is looking to stand up but McNamara isn't so interested in that idea. McNamara drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Russkof manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McNamara has Russkof in his guard. Russkof cracks McNamara with a solid left hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Russkof pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McNamara is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mack McNamara dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McNamara closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McNamara lands in his opponent's guard. McNamara thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. McNamara stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Russkof swivels though and keeps the full guard. McNamara preventing the sweep. Russkof looking to control.
Russkof utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Russkof is trying to control the position but McNamara postures up. Russkof keeping full guard, as McNamara tries to pass. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. McNamara has gone for a leg lock! Russkof slips out almost immediately though and dives into McNamara's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McNamara has his feet on Russkof's thighs here. He's pushed Russkof off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Russkof screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
