Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adaephon Delat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Schoonover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schoonover is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Daylight - Matt and Kim. The key to victory for Adaephon Delat has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delat misses with a wild combination.
Adaephon Delat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Delat enables Schoonover to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Delat manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Schoonover throws a big right hand that misses.
Schoonover is stalling in the full guard.
Schoonover slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Schoonover has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Schoonover wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Delat, who protects the arm well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Schoonover working for a submission but Delat is keeping him at bay.

It looks like Schoonover might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Schoonover with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Schoonover tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Schoonover lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Schoonover is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Schoonover extends the arm and Delat is forced to tap!
