Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fuma Kotaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Kotaro has chosen Bang Bang as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotaro avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kotaro will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Barnes moves out of range of the body kick from Kotaro.
An inside leg kick from Kotaro misses.
Barnes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Barnes sizes up Kotaro with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Kotaro counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Barnes's guard now.

Kotaro drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Barnes dives on top into guard.

Kotaro drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Barnes dives on top into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fuma Kotaro.

Kotaro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barnes napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Barnes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kotaro off and has taken his back!

Kotaro breaks Barnes's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Kotaro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kotaro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kotaro stands and throws Barnes's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barnes is not content to let Kotaro control the position.

Kotaro is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Barnes is trying to escape and Kotaro transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Barnes is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kotaro! Very nice indeed!
