Tweedy comes into the arena with Hard Act To Follow blaring out of the sound system. Maurice McDonald has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ben Tweedy's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Maurice McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tweedy misses with a series of wild punches.
Tweedy with a poor takedown
and Tweedy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tweedy falls off balance throwing a combination
and McDonald counters with a nice uppercut.
Tweedy misses with a series of wild punches.
McDonald takes a swing at Tweedy's ribcage but misses.
McDonald misses with a wild body shot.
McDonald takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tweedy misses with a double jab.
McDonald looks to land a combination. Tweedy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Ben Tweedy has been cut.
McDonald jabs Tweedy to the body, keeping him at a distance.
McDonald misses with a body shot.
Nice uppercut there from McDonald.
McDonald ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice takedown defense from McDonald. No joy for Tweedy on that attempt.
Tweedy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Tweedy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McDonald counters with a one-two to the body.
Tweedy is rocked!
McDonald comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Oh Tweedy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tweedy is breathing heavily.
A right-left combo lands from McDonald.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tweedy drops his hands for a split second and McDonald immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Tweedy face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. McDonald follows up with a right hand that knocks Tweedy into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Maurice McDonald!
