Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Phil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thaigo Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doctor Phil is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doctor Phil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thaigo Aldo! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldo tries to land a leg kick but Phil saw it coming and moves away.
Aldo clinches with his opponent.
Phil tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Aldo just stands there and leans against the cage. A short body shot lands from Phil as the two fighters clinch.
Phil has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Aldo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Phil breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Aldo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Phil finds it's way round the side to connect with Aldo's head. Phil is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Aldo's half guard. Aldo works his way to full guard. Good work. Aldo trying to control the position.
Phil has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Aldo looking for a sweep. Not yet Aldo, not yet. Phil is looking to stand up but Aldo won't let him. Aldo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Phil's guard. Phil is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Aldo dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo stands up and beckons Phil to his feet. Phil gets the takedown into side control. Aldo sneaks back into half guard. Well, if Phil is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are battling for position here. Aldo manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Aldo is trying to control the position but Phil postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Phil is looking to work some ground and pound but Aldo has wrist control. Aldo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Phil doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Phil manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Aldo wants to stand and escape but Phil is having none of it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Aldo is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Aldo trying to control but Phil is working from the bottom. Phil on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Phil tries to get out of the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Aldo sitting in guard here, content to control. Phil is breathing heavily.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Thaigo Aldo. Aldo throws a head kick that misses. Aldo throws a sloppy head kick and Phil moves out of range easily. Phil throws a right hand that Aldo ducks under and follows up with a left that Aldo also avoids with ease. Aldo moves into the clinch successfully.
Phil tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Aldo just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doctor Phil. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Aldo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aldo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Phil is looking to clinch but Aldo is avoiding it.
Aldo motions for Phil to come forward. Aldo throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Aldo with a lazy takedown attempt and Phil counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Aldo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Aldo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Phil counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aldo! Aldo gets back to half guard. Aldo wants to get back to his feet. Aldo works his way to full guard. Good work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Aldo wants to sweep here but Phil controlling him for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Aldo is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Thaigo Aldo will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Aldo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Phil circles away. Phil shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Aldo moves into full guard.
Phil would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Aldo trying to keep a closed guard but Phil is proving a slippery customer.
Aldo has his feet on Phil's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo misses with a takedown attempt and Phil counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Phil. Phil looking to pass the guard. Aldo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Phil! Aldo wants to control the pace but Phil is squirming around nicely. Aldo unloads with some shots from mount but Phil bucks and avoids them well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo looking to finish with strikes here!
Phil tries to hold on but Aldo pushes him away. Phil holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Aldo tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Phil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aldo on the ground. Aldo controlling from mount. Aldo throwing strikes here but Phil is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Aldo throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Phil because Aldo loaded up on that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldo throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Aldo punching from mount but Phil doing a good job of avoiding damage. Thaigo Aldo has got the better of the ground game so far. Aldo content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Aldo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Aldo is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Phil is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Phil flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Aldo anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Phil and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Aldo slips an arm under Phil chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Aldo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Aldo is squeezing on Phil like an anaconda would it's prey. Phil fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
