A fine choice. Danny Lafever has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Lafever!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nobunaga Odeki!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lafever clinches up against the cage.

Odeki has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lafever is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Odeki.

Jab, jab by Lafever - just one landing.

Lafever throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Odeki tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lafever is in Odeki's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lafever, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
