Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mega Kill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tlesh Mahato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahato has chosen Sepultura - Attitude as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mega Kill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tlesh Mahato!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahato misses with a takedown
and Kill counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


It looks like Tlesh Mahato has been cut.
Mahato fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kill.
Mahato throws a nice inside leg kick.

Kill decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mahato trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Kill manages to pass to mount!
Mahato throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Mahato is looking to improve his position but Kill isn't that keen on the idea.
Kill avoids the attempt from Mahato to control.
Mahato working to try and regain half guard.

Mahato is squirming around, avoiding Kill's attempts to control the action.
Mahato slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Kill with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mahato is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kill scores with a couple of nice shots.

Kill is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kill scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Kill stopping the sweep attempt from Mahato.
Mahato has a closed guard, preventing Kill from standing up.
Mahato is trying to hold Kill in close to prevent damage but Kill has managed to pass into half guard.
Kill is keen to just control but Mahato is a slippery customer.
Mahato has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kill is working away from the top position though.
Kill tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mahato is trying to control but can't.
Mahato is not content to let Kill control the position.
Kill is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Mahato is refusing to be controlled, as Kill sits in half guard.
Kill stops Mahato from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mega Kill dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tlesh Mahato's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Kill shoots in and gets a takedown into Mahato's guard.
Mahato is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kill is controlling him.
Mahato is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kill trying to control but Mahato is working from the bottom.
Mahato controls Kill momentarily but Kill frees himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kill wants to pass the guard but Mahato is keeping the position.

Kill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mahato has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kill has managed to get both his arms back between Mahato's legs - danger averted.
Kill has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kill thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mahato on the ground.

Kill is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mahato is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mahato has escaped and now he's on top!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mahato is looking to stand up but Kill won't let him.
Kill wants to get back to his feet but Mahato is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mahato tries to stand but Kill is controlling from the bottom.
Mahato landing with the ground and pound.
Kill is trying to hold Mahato in close to prevent damage but Mahato has managed to pass into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kill has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mahato is working away from the top position though.
Kill tries to kick Mahato off in order to stand up. Mahato Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Mahato has control of an arm but Kill manages to advance to Mahato's back!
Kill gets his hands free as Mahato looks to control.

Kill is looking for the choke from the back position but Mahato is controlling his hands well.
Kill avoiding Mahato 's attempts to control his hands.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kill is punishing Mahato with strikes - can he finish him?!
Kill controlling well, preventing Mahato from escaping the position.
Mahato staying busy and making it hard for Kill to control.

Kill is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Kill is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Mahato up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mahato takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Mahato turns into Kill and is now in his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mega Kill will probably get the nod.

That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Mahato tries to clinch but Kill is having none of it.
Mahato lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kill circles away quickly and effectively.

Kill shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mahato's guard.
Kill stands up over Mahato, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kill won't allow Mahato to sweep him here.

Mahato is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kill is aware though and is defending well.
Mega Kill overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kill stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Kill drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kill controlling from the top position.
Mahato not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Mahato keeping moving, preventing Kill from controlling successfully.
Mahato is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mahato shoots and misses

so Kill counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kill wanted to stand there but Mahato had control of the position.
Mahato looking to control.
Kill wants to control from the top but Mahato keeps moving.

Mahato trying to keep a closed guard but Kill is proving a slippery customer.
Kill tries to free his leg and advance position but Mahato is retaining full guard.
Kill pushing down on Mahato's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Kill wants to stand up but Mahato is controlling the position.
Kill performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Mahato moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kill stays in close to Mahato's body and controls the position.
Kill wants to control from the top but Mahato keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mega Kill.
Mahato is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mahato scores with a head kick.
Mahato lands a head kick!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mahato throws a head kick but Kill moves out of range.

Kill is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mahato's half guard.
Mahato wants to get back to his feet.
Mahato is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kill's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kill's back!
Kill is trying to break free.
Mahato is not going to allow Kill to sit and survive in this position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mega Kill showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Kill has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
