Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ice Simeria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Farley Mowat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ice Simeria!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Farley Mowat!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simeria fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Simeria looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mowat forces Simeria back against the cage and clinches.
Mowat lands a takedown into guard.
Mowat works over Simeria with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mowat controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mowat stands up over Simeria, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Simeria shoots in for a double leg but Mowat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

so Mowat counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Simeria is defending against the submission attempts here by Mowat.
Mowat is looking for a kimura but Simeria is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mowat to get the leverage.
Simeria wants to control the action here but instead Mowat manages to pass to full mount!
Simeria is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Simeria is desperately trying to improve his position but Mowat has a good base and remains in mount.

and Mowat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Mowat has closed the distance and engaged Simeria in a clinch.
Mowat tightens his grip and picks Simeria up, before dumping him to the ground. Simeria manages to land in guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mowat lands a nice short elbow.

Simeria has a hand on Mowat's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mowat takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Mowat is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Simeria can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Simeria is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Simeria is working hard here to advance position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Simeria wants to hold on but Mowat pushes him away.
Simeria tries to reverse the position but Mowat maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mowat breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mowat is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Mowat lands a couple of digs.
Mowat drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mowat jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Farley Mowat has got the better of the ground game so far.
Simeria tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Mowat uses his free foot to push down on Simeria's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Simeria.
Mowat lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
It looks like Ice Simeria has been cut.
Mowat wants to control the pace but Simeria is squirming around nicely.
Simeria has given up his back.

Mowat tries to keep control of the position but Simeria is staying busy.
Simeria is trapped and Mowat is scoring with shots to the head and body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
