The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Iverson counter with a right hand.

Iverson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Simpson is out of range and Iverson settles back down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I looks like Iverson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Simpson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Iverson off and cradles Simpson's limp body as Iverson celebrates with his corner.
