Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Bisping! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Rogers! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers wants to clinch up but Bisping keeps it at a distance. Rogers closes the distance and pushes Bisping back into the cage. Rogers looking for a takedown. Bisping is pressed up against the cage. Rogers has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bisping down to the mat. Bisping avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bisping will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rogers drives through and clinches with Bisping against the cage.
Rogers connects with a nasty looking knee right to Bisping's face.
Bisping is looking to break free of the clinch but Rogers has double underhooks. Bisping wants to get back to striking at distance but Rogers won't allow it.
Rogers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bisping is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Michael Bisping has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Rogers. Rogers with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Bisping has had enough of the clinch but Rogers keeps him there for the moment. Rogers lands a nice knee to the body. Bisping wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Bisping takes a knee to the side of the body. Rogers is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bisping gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bisping is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bisping is looking to break free of the clinch but Rogers has double underhooks. Bisping tries to break free but Rogers pushes him back against the cage. Bisping is trying to break the clinch but Rogers has him pressed against the cage. Rogers keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bisping's efforts to push away. Bisping is breathing heavily. Bisping looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Rogers jumps into guard, dragging Bisping to the mat.
Rogers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bisping doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rogers is tightening it up a little... Bisping has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bisping reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bisping taps out! nice BJJ there by Rogers!
