Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerson the rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ben Dover has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ben Dover seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerson the rock!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dover gets a takedown into half guard.
Dover is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
the rock tries to roll over but Dover keeps him under control.

Dover seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down the rock for as long as he can get away with.
Dover's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dover shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in the rock's guard.

Ben Dover overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

the rock throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dover escapes and throws the rock's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Dover decides to stand back up. Dover steps back and let's the rock get back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dover cracks the rock with an elbow. That is naaassty.

the rock is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dover off and has taken his back!
Dover turns into the rock and is now in his guard.

Dover drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dover jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dover is looking for a kimura but the rock is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dover to get the leverage.
