Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Hague (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erwin Korba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hague's entrance music is Duran, Duran - Wild Boys. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, William Hague! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Erwin Korba! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korba tries to close the distance and clinch but Hague swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Korba misses with a two punch combination.
Hague lands a nice hook to Korba's body. Korba takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hague throws out a loose jab but Korba uses good head movement to avoid it. Korba's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hague connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Korba scrambles back to his feet. A slow jab from Hague misses its intended target. Hague takes a swing at Korba's ribcage but misses. Korba bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hague keeps the fight on the outside. Hague throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Korba. Hague changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Korba looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hague trying to control the position but Korba is working away. Korba prevents Hague from improving position. You can see the frustration on Korba's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Korba is trying to buck Hague off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hague tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Korba is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hague connects with a decent elbow. Korba is not content to let Hague control the position. Korba manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hague is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hague stops Korba from getting back to his feet.
Korba wants to control but Hague is keeping busy.
Korba is refusing to be controlled, as Hague sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Korba gets full guard. Korba is trying to control the position but Hague postures up. Hague tries to free his leg and advance position but Korba is retaining full guard. Hague trying to control but Korba is working from the bottom. Hague pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Korba is keeping the position for now. Hague looking to sit in guard and control but Korba gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Korba pushes down on Hague's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korba is looking for a kimura but Hague is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Korba to get the leverage. Korba passes the guard and advances to mount! Hague looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Korba wants to control but Hague is keeping busy. Hague breaks Korba's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Korba has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hague off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. William Hague seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hague throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Korba decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hague's guard. Korba drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hague dives on top into guard. Korba escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hague gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hague has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Korba looks gassed! Hague trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Korba manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Korba postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hague is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Korba, into his guard. Hague pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Korba is keeping the position for now. Hague trying to control the position from guard on top but Korba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Erwin Korba dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Korba with a poor takedown and Hague counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Korba wants to clinch. Korba closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hague did well to prevent Korba getting side control. Korba is trying to work for a kimura but Hague is defending well.
Korba wants to free his trapped foot but Hague is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are battling for position here. Hague manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Korba wants to pass the guard but Hague is keeping the position. Korba trying to control but Hague is working from the bottom. Korba thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Korba is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korba wants to control from the top but Hague keeps moving. Hague wants to sweep here but Korba controlling him for the moment. Hague is trying to control the position but Korba postures up. Korba wants to stand but Hague has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Korba is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hague tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hague had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Korba defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Korba wants to pass the guard but Hague is keeping the position. Hague looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hague looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Korba puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Korba seems to be looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hague wants to improve his position but Korba is controlling well.
Korba wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hague keeps working. Korba is looking for a kimura but Hague is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Korba to get the leverage. Hague is trying to get back to full guard. Korba perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Korba seems to be looking for submissions.
Hague trying to get back to full guard but Korba takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Hague keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Korba is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hague to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hague shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hague is looking to improve his position but Korba isn't that keen on the idea. Korba is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hague can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Korba avoids the attempt from Hague to control. Korba putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Hague working to try and regain half guard.
Korba is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hague has managed to escape the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Erwin Korba showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Korba throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hague was covering up waiting for the punch and Korba finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hague working a defensive guard here.
Hague bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Korba's guard. Hagueis looking to pass into half guard but Korba pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Korba is in guard. Hague looking for a sweep. Not yet Hague, not yet. Korba decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hague, up you get! Both fighters are breathing heavily. A shot to the body from Hague misses so Korba counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Korba stands up from Hague's guard - Korba perhaps looking for a knockout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Korba will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korba avoids the body shot from Hague.
Hague throws an off balance right hand
and Korba counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Korba. Korba connects with a couple of short punches. Korba passes easily into side control. Nice work. Hague is not content to let Korba control the position. Korba in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Korba cracks Hague with an elbow. That is naaassty. Hague struggling a bit here. Hague tries to buck Korba off but Korba is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Korba has hold of Hague's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hague tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Korba cranks the arm and Hague screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hague, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
