Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Faria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarmo Suulas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faria tries a head kick but it misses.
Suulas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Suulas lands in his opponent's guard.
Suulas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Suulas cracks Faria with a solid left hand.
Suulas slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Suulas lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Faria backwards.

Faria knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suulas on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tarmo Suulas was stalling too much, according to the referee.

A nice right hand lands inside from Suulas.
Suulas is leaning against Faria and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Faria lands an elbow inside that Suulas shrugs off.
Suulas decides to pull guard.
Suulas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Faria's guard.
Faria can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Suulas controls the pace.
Faria utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Faria is breathing heavily.

Suulas slips nicely into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Suulas connects with a nice short shot to Faria's temple.

Suulas has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Faria's face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Faria is bucking up trying to escape but Suulas cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Faria takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Suulas's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
