Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adalberto Bolivar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leif Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leif Lane! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolivar moves to clinch but Lane breaks away and Lane counters with a stiff right hand. Lane scores with a head kick. Bolivar tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Lane throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lane shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bolivar's guard. Bolivar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lane. Lane trying to control but Bolivar is working from the bottom. Lane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lane wants to control from the top but Bolivar keeps moving. Lane postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bolivar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lane, into his guard. Lane working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bolivar.

Bolivar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lane works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bolivar trying to control the position from guard on top but Lane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bolivar preventing the sweep. Bolivar looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Bolivar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Adalberto Bolivar. Bolivar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lane shoots and misses and Bolivar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lane won't be happy with that. Lane is trying to get back to half guard. Bolivar stands up. Bolivar gets the takedown into side control. Bolivar tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bolivar is breathing heavily. Lane is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bolivar's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Lane trying to control but Bolivar postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane is pressing down on Bolivar's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bolivar wants to control from the top but Lane keeps moving. Lane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bolivar is one step ahead there. Bolivar wants to stand but Lane is controlling his posture from full guard. Bolivar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bolivar postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Leif Lane was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bolivar with a lazy takedown attempt and Lane counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lane is looking to take a break and control but Bolivar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lane is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Lane missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lane stops Bolivar from getting back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Adalberto Bolivar will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lane fails with a takedown attempt. Adalberto Bolivar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bolivar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lane closes the distance and clinches. Bolivar pulls guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lane trying to control the position from guard on top but Bolivar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lane's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lane wants to control from the top but Bolivar keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Leif Lane. Lane throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bolivar was covering up waiting for the punch and Lane finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bolivar swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lane is fighting to break Bolivar's control of his arms but Bolivar is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lane tries to stand but Bolivar is controlling from the bottom. Bolivar managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Adalberto Bolivar has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Lane misses with a head kick.
Lane defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bolivar. Lane is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bolivar's half guard. Lane is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bolivar is staying active underneath Lane, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bolivar looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lane in particular looking to stall. Bolivar is looking to control Lane's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bolivar avoid being mounted? Lane wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bolivar keeps working. Lane seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Leif Lane has got the better of the ground game so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Leif Lane. Bolivar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lane shoots in for a double leg but Bolivar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lane not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Leif Lane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lane wants to hold on but Bolivar pushes him away. Bolivar throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lane because Bolivar loaded up on that one. Bolivar prevents Lane from getting the reversal. Bolivar unloading with bombs! Lane is squirming around, avoiding Bolivar's attempts to control the action. Bolivar thowing shots but they're missing. Bolivar working for a guillotine from mount but Lane is in no mood to give up. Lane is looking to improve his position but Bolivar isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. A nice elbow there by Bolivar. Lane sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Bolivar decides to stand up. Lane misses with a left hand and Bolivar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bolivar. Lane has Bolivar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bolivar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Lane has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bolivar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Adalberto Bolivar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leif Lane. Bolivar stops a takedown attempt from Lane.
Lane goes for a takedown attempt but Bolivar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Lane pulls Bolivar in close to his closed guard and prevents Bolivar from doing any damage or advancing position. Bolivar postures up in Lane's guard and throws a big left but Lane blocks it. Bolivar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bolivar trying to control but Lane is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Adalberto Bolivar showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bolivar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
