The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clean throws the kick towards the body but Rondough avoids it.

Clean bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Clean tries to move into full mount but can't pass Rondough's legs.
Rondough dodges the ground and pound from Clean.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rondough seems a little lost for a moment, as Clean dominates the positioning.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oxi Clean has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Clean closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Rondough tries to roll over but Clean keeps him under control.

Clean is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Rondough wants to improve his position but Clean is controlling well.

Clean looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rondough!

Rondough drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rondough jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oxi Clean has got the better of the ground game so far.

Rondough wants to pass the guard but Clean is keeping the position.

Rondough has gone for a leg lock! Clean slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rondough's guard.
Clean must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Clean would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rondough wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Clean drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rondough looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rondough looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rondough!

Rondough has hold of Clean's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Clean seems comfortable defending it but Rondough has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Clean is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Clean is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Rondough couldn't care less - he's delighted!
