Johnson tries to clinch up
enabling Vares to counter with a crisp jab.
Vares keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed.
Vares fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A jab lands there for Vares.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vares connects with a body shot that sends Johnson's belly button to the back.
Johnson looks gassed!
Johnson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vares scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Vares cracks Johnson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Vares cracks Johnson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vares has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Johnson to stand back up!

Johnson has his takedown stuffed
and Vares counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
