Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesus Christ!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Noteboom just misses with a punch to the body.
De Noteboom drives through with a takedown into guard.
Christ is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Christ trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Christ trying to keep a closed guard but De Noteboom is proving a slippery customer.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Christ is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jesus Christ wasn't active enough on the ground.
Christ shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and De Noteboom counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Christ being controlled here, momentarily.
Christ is trying to control the position from the bottom.
De Noteboom not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Christ has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but De Noteboom has passed into side control.

De Noteboom is working Christ over with some ground and pound from side control.
Christ takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Christ tries to bench press De Noteboom off him but De Noteboom keeps the position.
De Noteboom landing strikes.
Christ looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
De Noteboom decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Christ misses with a takedown
and De Noteboom counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

De Noteboom stands up over Christ, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
De Noteboom with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

De Noteboom keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Christ's head.
De Noteboom sitting in guard, not really doing much.
De Noteboom distracts Christ with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

De Noteboom gets to his feet - Christ follows without any prompting.
De Noteboom closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Christ did well to prevent De Noteboom getting side control.
De Noteboom drops an elbow to the side of Christ's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
De Noteboom slips a nice elbow through Christ's hands, connecting with Christ's forehead.
De Noteboom could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. De Noteboom connects with a nice short shot to Christ's temple.
Christ is rocked!
De Noteboom lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Christ! More strikes land and this one is all over! De Noteboom jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
