Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denis Boytsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herbert Mortensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boytsov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to GODS OF WAR. The key to victory for Denis Boytsov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Boytsov.
Boytsov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mortensen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mortensen shoots in but no luck this time.
Boytsov thuds his right hand into Mortensen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Boytsov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mortensen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Boytsov.
Boytsov misses with a double jab.
Boytsov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mortensen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mortensen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Mortensen shoots in looking for a takedown. Boytsov tries to sprawl out of it but Mortensen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boytsov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boytsov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mortensen on the side of the head.
Boytsov throws a series of punches but Mortensen avoids them all with ease.
Boytsov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Boytsov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boytsov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boytsov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mortensen.
Mortensen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boytsov to the mat! Boytsov manages to get full guard.
Mortensen won't allow Boytsov to sweep him here.

Boytsov trying to keep a closed guard but Mortensen is proving a slippery customer.
Boytsov can't keep his opponent in guard - Mortensen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mortensen wants to pass the guard but Boytsov is defending well.
Mortensen moves into full mount! Boytsov won't be happy about that!

Mortensen working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Boytsov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mortensen on the ground.
Mortensen is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Boytsov has given up his back.
Mortensen is working for a rear naked choke. Boytsov is not defending it well and Mortensen has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Boytsov refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Boytsov's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
