Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjarne Sluggo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Palmer Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bjarne Sluggo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Palmer Ward!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sluggo throws a big shot that misses.
Ward looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sluggo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ward on the side of the head.
It looks like Palmer Ward has been cut.
Ward doesn't manage to clinch there - Sluggo circles away.
Ward fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sluggo, pushing him back against the cage.
Sluggo has had enough of the clinch but Ward keeps him there for the moment.
Sluggo slows down the pace here.
Ward prevents Sluggo from breaking the clinch.
Ward landing knees to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sluggo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Sluggo stalling in the clinch but Ward improves position.
Ward manages to break the clinch.
Ward tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sluggo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Sluggo has cracked Ward with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Sluggo lands another huge swinging hook and Ward tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Ward, before Sluggo can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bjarne Sluggo!
