Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stack closes the distance and clinches up with Hisao, looking for a takedown. Stack pushes Hisao against the cage but Hisao circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stack looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hisao looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stack!

Stack fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Daiki Hisao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Stack.
Stack tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hisao swivels and escapes.
Stack seems to have recovered his senses.

Hisao shoots in looking for a takedown. Stack tries to sprawl out of it but Hisao keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stack manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Stack can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hisao is looking to escape.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hisao tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stack swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hisao fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stack, pushing him back against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hisao seems keen to control Stack's posture.

Stack drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hisao looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hisao looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hisao!

Stack misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Hisao's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Stack had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hisao is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Stack Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hisao's back instead.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Hisao counters by clinching up.
Stack is looking to control Hisao's arms but Hisao gets an underhook and turns him. Now Stack has his back to the cage.
Stack has Hisao pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hisao manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Stack manages to break the clinch.

Stack misses with a two punch combination.
Stack tries to clinch up but Hisao circles away and keeps his distance.
Stack shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hisao but Hisao pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hisao manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stack manages to get himself to full guard.
Hisao seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Stack misses with a takedown attempt - Hisao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hisao moves in looking to clinch but Stack pushes him off.
Stack shoots for a double leg takedown but Hisao sprawls well. He's pushed Stack's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well Hisao has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
