Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Massive Headwound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inferno Sniper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Massive Headwound!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Inferno Sniper!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Headwound tries to close the distance and clinch but Sniper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sniper tries to keep at a distance but Headwound has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sniper tries to circle away but Headwound has him pinned against the cage.
Headwound prevents a takedown attempt there.

Headwound escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Headwound misses with a wild combination.
Headwound tries to bum rush Sniper with a series of wild strikes but Sniper uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Headwound looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sniper misses with a takedown attempt - Headwound sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Headwound throws a sloppy head kick and Sniper moves out of range easily.

Sniper moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Headwound doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Headwound breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Good leg kick by Sniper there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Headwound connects with an inside leg kick.
Sniper tries to close the distance and clinch but Headwound swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Headwound makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Headwound looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Headwound looks to land a combination but Sniper avoids it well.
Sniper is looking to clinch.
Headwound throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sniper lands a nice leg kick that just misses Headwound's sensitive parts.

Headwound closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Headwound lands an elbow just above Sniper 's eye.
Headwound using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sniper has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Headwound breaks from the clinch.
Sniper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Headwound counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Massive Headwound has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Inferno Sniper.

Headwound's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Headwound counters with a series of strikes. Sniper will be more careful next time no doubt.

Sniper tries to break free but Headwound pushes him back against the cage.

Sniper tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Headwound just stands there and leans against the cage.

Headwound breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Headwound fakes the leg kick and cracks Sniper in the body.

Headwound gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Headwound escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Headwound has Sniper up against the cage in a clinch.
Headwound landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Headwound pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sniper circles away from the clinch attempt.

Sniper takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


It looks like Inferno Sniper has been cut.
Headwound fails in his attempt to clinch.

Sniper closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sniper is trying to control. Headwound wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Headwound is looking to escape.
Sniper keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Headwound is trying to stand.
Sniper moves nicely into side control.
Sniper in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Headwound takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Sniper decides to stand back up. Sniper steps back and let's Headwound get back to his feet.
Headwound throws a head kick that misses

and Sniper counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Headwound!
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Headwound is squirming around, avoiding Sniper's attempts to control the action.
Sniper might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Headwound kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Massive Headwound dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Inferno Sniper's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Sniper shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Sniper gets tackled into the cage by Headwound. Headwound maintains the clinch.
Headwound throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sniper blocks it with crossed arms.

Headwound's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Headwound throws a head kick but Sniper moves out of range.
Massive Headwound is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Horrible takedown by Sniper or perhaps it was just good defense by Headwound which made him look bad.
Headwound avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sniper tries to keep at a distance but Headwound has taken the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sniper has Headwound pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sniper pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Headwound tumbling to the mat - Sniper dives into Headwound's guard.

Sniper gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Massive Headwound is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Headwound tries to kick Sniper off in order to stand up. Sniper Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Sniper is looking to take a break and control but Headwound is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Headwound is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Sniper pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Sniper swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
