Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Janek Kos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Magamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igor Magamedov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Janek Kos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Igor Magamedov! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kos stands up from guard. Let's bang! Kos clinches. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Magamedov. Kos successfully pulls guard.
Magamedov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kos swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kos pushes Magamedov off and gets back to his feet.
Magamedov has his takedown stuffed and Kos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kos trying to control the position from guard on top but Magamedov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Magamedov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Magamedov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kos working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Magamedov's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magamedov wriggles free and stands up. Kos misses with a takedown and Magamedov counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Magamedov stalling. Kos is breathing heavily. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Igor Magamedov wasn't active enough on the ground. Kos moves into the clinch successfully.
Kos gets underhooks to prevent Magamedov's takedown attempt.
Magamedov jumps into guard, dragging Kos to the mat.
Magamedov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Magamedov tries to control but Kos wriggling away. Magamedov lands a heavy elbow. Magamedov controlling from mount. Magamedov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kos looks a forlorn figure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Magamedov controlling his opponent. Magamedov landing strikes, looking to finish! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Magamedov lands a big elbow. Kos working to try and regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Igor Magamedov will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Magamedov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kos was covering up waiting for the punch and Magamedov finishes the takedown easily into guard. Magamedov stands and throws Kos's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kos pushes Magamedov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Magamedov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kos is looking to regain half guard here but Magamedov keeps moving and retains side control. Magamedov wants to control but Kos is keeping him busy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magamedov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kos has escaped the position, nice work there. Magamedov laying and praying for a moment but Kos takes advantage and regains half guard. Magamedov wants to stand but Kos has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Magamedov scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Magamedov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Magamedov stands up and beckons Kos to join him on the feet. Magamedov throws a series of strikes that have Kos backpedaling.
Kos takes a kick to the side of the head. Magamedov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kos defends it nicely. Magamedov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kos counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kos. Magamedov decides to pull guard. Magamedov trying to strike off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kos looking to pass the guard. Kos has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Magamedov pushes Kos off and scrambles back to his feet.
Magamedov forces Kos back against the cage and clinches. Kos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Magamedov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kos defends it nicely. Janek Kos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Magamedov. Kos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Magamedov counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kos has a closed guard, preventing Magamedov from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magamedov wants to pass the guard but Kos is keeping the position. Kos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kos wants to improve his position but instead Magamedov has moved into half guard.

Igor Magamedov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Magamedov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Magamedov looks to land a strike but Kos avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Magamedov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Magamedov thows a big elbow that misses. Magamedov sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kos wants to sweep here but Magamedov controlling him for the moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Magamedov stands up from Kos's guard - Magamedov perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Magamedov. Nice uppercut there from Magamedov. Igor Magamedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Magamedov connects with a leg kick. Kos looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kos misses with a takedown and Magamedov counters with an outside leg kick.
Janek Kos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Magamedov tries to clinch up. Magamedov shoots in and gets a takedown into Kos's guard. Kos looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Magamedov connects with a couple of short punches. Magamedov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kos is trying to keep Magamedov in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kos enables Magamedov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kos manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kos tries to land a sweep but no joy. Magamedov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Magamedov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magamedov gets to his feet - Kos follows without any prompting. Kos fails with the takedown and Magamedov counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kos slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Janek Kos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Igor Magamedov is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Magamedov preventing the sweep.
And that's the end of the fight! Igor Magamedov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Magamedov winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
