Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Sliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zak Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons has chosen Hip Hop as his entrance music. Anderson Sliva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zak Simmons's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sliva moves in looking to clinch but Simmons pushes him off.
No luck for Simmons with that takedown attempt.
Simmons tries to bum rush Sliva with a series of wild strikes but Sliva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sliva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Simmons decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sliva's guard.
Simmons throws and elbow that misses. Sliva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Simmons's guard. Nice move by Sliva!

I looks like Simmons might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Simmons closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

You can see the frustration on Sliva's face as Simmons controls the position.

Zak Simmons showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
