Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shcloff throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Methot was covering up waiting for the punch and Shcloff finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Methot utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Methot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Patrick Methot.
Shcloff shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Methot napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Methot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shcloff swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Patrick Methot overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Shcloff is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Shcloff is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Shcloff sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Shcloff is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Methot can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Methot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shcloff on the ground.

Shcloff can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Methot is looking to escape.

Methot tries to lock up and control but Shcloff gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Shcloff is working for a guillotine from mount but Methot frees his head quite easily.
Shcloff jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Methot manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

I would just about give that final round to Rick Shcloff.
I think Shcloff has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
