Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Tanghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ziggy Vondopolous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ziggy Vondopolous!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vondopolous moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Tanghe throws a looping overhand right but Vondopolous ducks down to avoid it.
Vondopolous looks to land a right hand but Tanghe moved out of range.
Tanghe on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Vondopolous swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tanghe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vondopolous.
Vondopolous scores with a hook.
Vondopolous ducks right into an uppercut from Tanghe.
Tanghe shoots in but Vondopolous avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tanghe misses with a double jab.
Tanghe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vondopolous. Tanghe does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Vondopolous makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Tanghe is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

It looks like Tristan Tanghe has been cut.
Vondopolous gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vondopolous is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vondopolous is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Vondopolous is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Vondopolous seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Tanghe scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Vondopolous looking for a sweep. Not yet Vondopolous, not yet.
Tanghe throwing strikes but missing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tanghe trying to control the position from guard on top but Vondopolous is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ziggy Vondopolous wasn't active enough on the ground.
Vondopolous lands with a hook. Tanghe tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Tanghe throws a series of punches but Vondopolous avoids them all with ease.
Tristan Tanghe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanghe throws a jab when Vondopolous was well out of range.
Vondopolous scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Vondopolous connects with a looping right hand.
Tanghe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vondopolous lands a nice hook to Tanghe's body. Tanghe takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oh Tanghe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vondopolous fakes the body blow, causing Tanghe to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Tanghe goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
