Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyo Kurosaki!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kurosaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kyo Kurosaki hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Xavier moves into the clinch.

Kurosaki works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Kurosaki shoots in looking for a takedown but Xavier manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kurosaki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kurosaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kurosaki prevents Xavier from getting back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kurosaki distracts Xavier with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Xavier pushes Kurosaki off looking to stand but Kurosaki dives back in and keeps control.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kurosaki connects with a nice short shot to Xavier's temple.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kyo Kurosaki has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
