Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kapt Jinglez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Dennis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kapt Jinglez!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dennis doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jinglez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jinglez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dennis defending against the ground and pound.
Jinglez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dennis keeps working.
Dennis is trying to control Jinglez's posture but Jinglez avoids it.
Jinglez lands an elbow.
Jinglez cracks Dennis with a big right hand but Dennis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
You can see the frustration on Dennis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jinglez working the strikes but Dennis uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Jinglez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dennis keeps working.
Jinglez is just content to waste time from the top position. Dennis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dennis looking to control.
Jinglez trying to control the position from guard on top but Dennis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dennis is on top in guard.
Jinglez keeping full guard, as Dennis tries to pass.
Jinglez looking to control but Dennis passes into half guard.
Dennis works his way into side control.
Dennis gets to mount! Jinglez was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Dennis looking to finish Jinglez with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jinglez!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dennis with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jinglez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Dennis working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Dennis in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jinglez throwing hammer fists to the chest of Dennis. What's that going to do exactly?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dennis working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Jinglez turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Dennis off and cradles Jinglez's limp body as Dennis celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jorge Dennis!
