Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Wonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karate Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid has chosen Go to sleep as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willie Wonka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karate Kid!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid throws a right hand that misses
and Wonka counters with a stiff right hand.
Kid shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wonka looking for a kimura from the bottom but Kid passes into side control!
Kid is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wonka will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Wonka is looking to regain half guard here but Kid keeps moving and retains side control.
Kid misses with the ground and pound.
Wonka regains half guard.
Kid stands up out of the half guard.
Kid tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wonka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kid manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wonka working some strikes from top position.
Wonka stopping the sweep attempt from Kid.
Kid is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kid has momentary wrist control but Wonka slips an elbow through the middle.
Kid wants to sweep but no luck.
Wonka thows a big elbow that misses.
Kid is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wonka is trying to control but can't.
Kid wants to pass the guard but Wonka is defending well.
Kid is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wonka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kid.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wonka moves into full guard.
Wonka pushes a forearm under Kid's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kid is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Willie Wonka!
