Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lusion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lusion might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Destroy Everything. Jimmy Sanchez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Lusion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez tries to sprawl but Lusion drives through with a takedown into half guard. Lusion is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sanchez is just riding it out for now. Lusion eventually gives up the hold. Lusion takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Sanchez trying to control from the bottom.
Sanchez is trying to get back to full guard. Lusion wants to control but Sanchez is keeping him busy. Sanchez is looking to improve his position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lusion tries to clinch but Sanchez moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez wants to clinch up but Lusion keeps it at a distance. Sanchez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lusion counters with a flying knee. Nice. Sanchez misses with a takedown and Lusion counters with a head kick. Lusion tries to clinch but Sanchez is having none of it. Lusion closes the distance and clinches. Sanchez can't get the takedown.
Anthony Lusion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Sanchez. Lusion has Sanchez pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lusion pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sanchez tumbling to the mat - Lusion dives into Sanchez's guard. Sanchez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lusion is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lusion controls from within his opponent's guard. Sanchez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sanchez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sanchez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lusion kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Sanchez pulls Lusion in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jimmy Sanchez. Lusion tries to clinch up. Sanchez fails with the takedown and Lusion counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lusion. Sanchez trying to keep a closed guard but Lusion is proving a slippery customer.
Lusion stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lusion decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lusion pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lusion throws a right and a left that Sanchez avoids nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lusion tries to clinch but Sanchez is having none of it. Lusion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sanchez struggling a bit here. Lusion slows the pace down. Lusion advances to full mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lusion has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sanchez's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lusion doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lusion manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lusion controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Anthony Lusion overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lusion wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lusion is one step ahead there. Lusion trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lusion wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Anthony Lusion. Lusion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sanchez quickly recovers to half guard. Lusion lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Sanchez throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez looking for submissions off his back. Lusion prevents Sanchez from standing back up.
Lusion is trying to work for a kimura but Sanchez is defending well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez tries to get to full guard but Lusion has control of the leg. Lusion works his foot free and advances to mount. Sanchez is in a horrible position here. Lusion smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lusion looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Lusion controlling the position easily from mount. Lusion with good strikes from the mount here! Lusion controlling his opponent. Sanchez can't escape the position.

Anthony Lusion dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Lusion bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. What's Sanchez going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Lusion working the ground and pound. Lusion decides to stand back up. Lusion steps back and let's Sanchez get back to his feet. Sanchez rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lusion counters with a shoot takedown. Sanchez fights it but they end up in guard. Sanchez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lusion sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sanchez's guard.

Anthony Lusion is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lusion in particular looking to stall. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Anthony Lusion wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Lusion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lusion gets to mount! Sanchez was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Lusion moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Sanchez has worked his arm free - good work by Sanchez!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Sanchez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lusion content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Lusion stands up and beckons Sanchez to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Anthony Lusion showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lusion has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
