Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shoorikan Kalil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Limit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Limit tests Kalil's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kalil drives through with a takedown into guard. Kalil trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Limit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kalil. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Limit not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kalil prevents Limit from getting back to his feet. Kalil drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kalil jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kalil wants to control from the top but Limit keeps moving. Kalil lands a couple of decent looking shots. Limit tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kalil looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Limit looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kalil is one step ahead there. Limit is trying to control the position but Kalil postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kalil works a leg free and moves into half guard. Limit tries to get to full guard but Kalil has control of the leg. Kalil is looking to take a break and control but Limit is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kalil prevents Limit from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kalil is looking for a kimura but Limit is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kalil to get the leverage. Kalil passes the guard and advances to mount! Kalil wants to finish this one by submission but Limit is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kalil. Limit is looking to get to half guard. Limit is squirming around, avoiding Kalil's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Limit is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Limit is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Limit is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Kalil with a couple of short strikes. Limit tries to get back to half guard but can't. Limit taking shots to the head. Kalil prevents Limit from getting the reversal. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Limit can do anything to dispel that myth. Poor strikes thrown by Kalil there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Limit tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kalil trying to control but Limit is having none of it. Kalil punching from mount but Limit doing a good job of avoiding damage. Limit is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Limit is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kalil tries to control but Limit wriggling away. Limit is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shoorikan Kalil dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Limit swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kalil changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Limit tries to avoid it but Kalil manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Limit to the ground. Limit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Limit digs a good body shot into Kalil's ribs. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kalil. Kalil fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shoorikan Kalil. That's going to take a lot out of him. Limit with a hook. Limit smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Limit tries to bum rush Kalil with a series of wild strikes but Kalil uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A momentary lapse in concentration from Limit enables Kalil to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Limit manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Limit looking for a sweep. Not yet Limit, not yet. Limit pulls Kalil in close to his closed guard and prevents Kalil from doing any damage or advancing position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kalil stopping the sweep attempt from Limit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Limit is pulling down on Kalil's head. It's preventing any offense from Kalil, at least for the moment. Kalil won't allow Limit to get back to his feet. Kalil looking to pass the guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. George Limit wasn't active enough on the ground. Kalil swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Limit to counter with a crisp jab. Limit is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kalil walks into a left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Limit cracks Kalil with an open hand slap. Shoorikan Kalil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Limit comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Limit connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kalil tumbling to the canvas! Limit pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kalil was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). George Limit!
