Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Just Case!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Yokohama Humahuta!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humahuta rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Case cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Humahuta misses with a right hand
and Case counters with a nice uppercut.
Case scores with a decent looking hook.
Humahuta doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Case tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Humahuta was well out of range. Poor timing from Case.
Case connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Case makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Humahuta uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Case.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Just Case just wasn't active enough.

and Case counters with a stiff right hand.
Case is trying hard to land a takedown here. Humahuta sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Case stuns Humahuta with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Case tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Humahuta paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Case counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Humahuta's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Case tries to free his leg and advance position but Humahuta is retaining full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Humahuta can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Humahuta isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Case stacks Humahuta on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Case!

Case moves in looking to clinch but Humahuta pushes him off.
Case fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Humahuta manages to avoid it.

and Case counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Humahuta thinking.
Case throws a series of strikes that have Humahuta backpedaling.
Case throws a right hand that Humahuta ducks under and follows up with a left that Humahuta also avoids with ease.

and Case counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Humahuta slips under a jab.
Humahuta dodges the punch combination from Case.
Humahuta gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Humahuta bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Case's head backwards.
Case tries to land a leg kick but Humahuta saw it coming and moves away.
Humahuta might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Case throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Humahuta's waist but Humahuta gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Case off to one side.

Humahuta drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Case manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Humahuta has Case in his guard.
Case is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Case, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
