The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenk circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jenk connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Strike moves to clinch but Jenk breaks away
and Jenk counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jenk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Strike wants to clinch
and Jenk counters with a two punch combo.
Strike closes the distance but Jenk moves to the side
and Jenk counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Jenk counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jenk sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Jenk loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jenk slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jenk keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Strike's head.
Jenk passes Strike's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Strike is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jenk scores with a couple of nice shots.

Jenk lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jenk breaks from Strike's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Strike is bucking up trying to escape but Jenk cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jenk tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Strike knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jenk on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
