The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Cekada or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown which made him look bad.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.
Brown goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Cekada fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cekada lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Craig Brown has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cekada looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cekada tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Brown tightens his grip and picks Cekada up, before dumping him to the ground. Cekada manages to land in guard.

Cekada has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brown connects with a nice short shot to Cekada's temple.

and Brown counters with a takedown into side control.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Brown holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Brown lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Brown has his feet on Cekada's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Cekada throws a wild body kick that Brown sees coming a mile off.
Brown misses with an attempted mid kick.
Brown shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Brown was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Brown moves to the back position.
Brown has the hooks in. Cekada is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Cekada is trying to defend against the choke here but Brown has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Brown Tightens the hold and Cekada taps out furiously! Brown displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
