Kerr drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Coples tries to buck Kerr off but Kerr is having none of it.
Kerr trying to control the position but Coples is working away.
Kerr lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
It looks like Fred Coples has been cut.

Kerr wants to control but Coples is keeping him busy.

Coples tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kerr in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Fred Coples's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee asks Kerr politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kerr prefers to stall for the moment though.
Kerr throws a strike aimed at the side of Coples's head but Coples avoids it well.
Coples wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Coples knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kerr on the ground.
Kerr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kerr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Coples is trying to control Kerr's posture but Kerr avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
