Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominick Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zakhar Feofan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dominick Creed has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dominick Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zakhar Feofan!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feofan moves out of range of the body kick from Creed.
Creed misses with a double jab.
Creed tries a head kick but it misses.
Feofan leaves Creed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Feofan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Feofan stays in close to Creed's body and controls the position.
Creed is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Feofan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Creed pinned against the cage. Creed gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Feofan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Creed won't be happy with that.

Creed tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Feofan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Creed is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Feofan has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Feofan scores a takedown into full mount!

Feofan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Creed tries to reverse the position but Feofan maintains control.

Creed wants to hold on but Feofan pushes him away.

Creed is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Let's hope that Feofan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Creed feints and as Feofan raises his hands in defense, Creed changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Feofan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Creed is trying to stand.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Feofan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Creed wants to stand but Feofan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Zakhar Feofan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Creed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Feofan's waist but Feofan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Creed off to one side.

Creed is working to avoid the ground and pound but Feofan connects with a decent elbow.
