Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Cerveny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lowell Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanley has chosen The Hammer as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Cerveny! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lowell Stanley! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stanley just misses with a punch to the body.
Cerveny misses with an uppercut
and Stanley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stanley misses with a body punch
and Cerveny counters with a solid body kick. Cerveny scores with a three punch combo!
Stanley lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Stanley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Cerveny makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Stanley moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Lowell Stanley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Stanley. Cerveny does a little dance to reset his feet. No joy there for Stanley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cerveny looks to throw the jab but Stanley is out of range. Cerveny walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Stanley on the wrong end of a nice jab. Cerveny stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cerveny wants it to stay on the feet. Cerveny throws a predictable looking body shot

Cerveny bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Stanley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cerveny. Stanley takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Stanley swings and misses with a shot to the body and Cerveny counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Stanley throws a right hand that misses

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cerveny goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Nice defenses there by Cerveny. Stanley lands with a hook. Cerveny tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Stanley rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cerveny connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cerveny takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Cerveny counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cerveny tries to bum rush Stanley with a series of wild strikes but Stanley uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stanley connects with a crisp jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Stanley. Cerveny does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stanley takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Stanley takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Stanley with a jab. A telegraphed right hand from Cerveny misses the target. A swing and a miss from Stanley. Stanley looks to score with a jab to the body but Cerveny is just out of range. Cerveny takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stanley misses with a combination
and Cerveny cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Cerveny dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cerveny has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stanley finds it's way round the side to connect with Cerveny's head. Nice uppercut lands for Stanley. That snapped Cerveny's head back.

and Cerveny counters with a head kick. That will keep Stanley thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stanley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cerveny.

Lowell Stanley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Cerveny's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Stanley throws a combination that misses and Cerveny cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Stanley thuds a left hand into Cerveny's body. Stanley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Cerveny holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Stanley tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stanley looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
