Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between No Chance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Absten Brews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, No Chance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Absten Brews!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brews drives through with a takedown into guard.
Chance preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Chance has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brews can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brews wants to pass the guard but Chance is keeping the position.
Chance tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Chance looking for a guillotine here but Brews defends easily.
Chance might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Chance escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brews gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brews trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Brews lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Brews is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Brews with a flurry of punches that miss.
Chance utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Brews stays in close to Chance's body and controls the position.
Chance lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brews!

Chance moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Brews has worked his arm free - good work by Brews!

Chance is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Brews wants to control but Chance postures up.
Brews manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Brews looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Chance seems to be looking for submissions.
Chance tries to pass to full mount but Brews defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that No Chance will probably get the nod.
That's time! Chance's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Chance is fighting off a takedown attempt but Brews is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Chance to the mat. Chance regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Chance manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brews manages to get himself to full guard.
Chance stands and throws Brews's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Brews tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chance wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Chance tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chance has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Brews is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Chance off and has taken his back!

Chance tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Brews is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Chance to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Chance shrugs it off.
Brews can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chance is looking to escape.

Brews goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Chance turns into him and now he's in Brews's guard.
Brews is breathing heavily.
Chance slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Chance is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brews knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

You can see the frustration on Brews's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Chance drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brews looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brews looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brews!

Brews stands up and beckons Chance to his feet.

Brews gets caught flat footed, as Chance shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No Chance dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

No Chance overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Chance has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Brews should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Chance has tightened it up now! Brews should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). No Chance!
