Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lao Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buutzen Does (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lao Kong could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Buutzen Does's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lao Kong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Buutzen Does! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Does.
Does fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kong. Does tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kong counters with a lovely straight right hand! Does with a poor takedown and Does takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kong shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Does's guard. Kong postures up in Does's guard and throws a big left but Does blocks it. Does looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Does can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kong controls the pace. Kong advances to half guard. Does is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kong trying to control the pace. Does is trying to control but can't.
Kong is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Does doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kong.
That's one minute gone in the round. Does is trying to maintain the position but Kong is very close to passing his half guard. Kong seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Does does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kong controlling the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Does uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kong. Does ducks under a wild hook from Kong. Kong misses with a hook. Kong tries to bum rush Does with a series of wild strikes but Does uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Does wants to clinch and Kong counters by clinching up. Kong pulls guard. Kong manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kong is working for a guillotine from mount but Does frees his head quite easily.
Does really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Does is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Kong has taken his back! Does looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Kong looking to break Does's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Does remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kong will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kong seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Does's chin but Does turns very nicely into Kong's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Does.
Does throwing strikes but missing. Kong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Does doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Does manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Does is aware though and is defending well. Does with a flurry of punches that miss. Kong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Does gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Does wants to control from the top but Kong keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Does doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Does manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Does manages to get himself to full guard.
Does wants to sweep here but Kong controlling him for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kong trying to control but Does is working from the bottom. Kong works a leg free and moves into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lao Kong dominated that round. That's time! Kong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Does misses with a wild combination.
Does gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kong makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kong shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Does is trying to defend but Kong finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kong looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kong uses his free foot to push down on Does's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Does. Kong misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong working for a submission but Does is keeping him at bay. Does working to try and regain half guard.
Does defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kong. Kong is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Does to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Does shrugs it off. Does keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Does is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong is working for a guillotine from mount but Does frees his head quite easily.
Does holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kong tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kong takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kong throwing strikes here but Does is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Kong jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Does manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Does keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Does tries to bench press Kong off him but Kong keeps the position. Kong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kong wants to control but Does is keeping him busy. Does manages to get back to half guard. Kong seems to be working for a kimura but Does defends the submission attempt. Does is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kong passes to side control. An elbow from Kong crashes against the mat.
A lull in the action here as Kong stalls from top position. Does sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kong is trying to work for a kimura but Does is defending well.
Kong is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Does sees it coming and defends easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lao Kong dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Does lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kong circles away quickly and effectively. Does uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kong. Does misses with a two punch combination.
Does misses with a takedown attempt - Kong sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Does misses with a takedown and Kong counters with a takedown into side control. Kong is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Does has escaped the position, nice work there. Does struggling a bit here. Does tries to get back to half guard but can't. Does takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong works to advance to full mount. Does defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Lao Kong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kong is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Does has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Kong takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Kong is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Does can do to turn this around? Kong lands punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kong trying to control momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Does trying to control but not successfully. Does looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Does tries to escape but Kong has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Kong looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Does taps!
