Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yu Kanta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Takahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yu Kanta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Takahara! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kanta steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Takahara. A low kick from Takahara is predictable there enabling Kanta to counter with a crisp jab. Takahara throws a leg kick that is checked and Kanta counters with a stiff right hand. Kanta misses with a head kick.
Takahara pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Takahara lands a big head kick that sends Kanta tumbling to the mat! Takahara takes a step backwards and waves Kanta back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Yu Kanta has been cut. A lazy body kick from Takahara and Kanta counters with a head kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
