And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Carter!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter tries to clinch but Hartland moves out of range.
Carter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hartland scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Carter is looking to escape.
Hartland wants to pass the guard but Carter is defending well.

Hartland drops back looking for a leg! Carter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carter manages to kick Hartland off! Hartland jumps back into Carter's guard.

Carter is looking for a sweep. Hartland is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hartland throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Hartland has gone for a leg lock! Carter slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hartland's guard.
Carter throws a big right hand that misses.
Hartland looking for a triangle here. Carter is fighting it but it looks tight! Hartland pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Carter is tapping out - this one is all over!
